Respublica Litteraria in Action
Czwarta publikacja z cyklu Respublica Litteraria "in Action", stanowiącego jedną z części projektu edytorskiego Corpus Epistularum Ioannis Dantisci, który od dwóch dziesięcioleci realizowany jest w Uniwersytecie Warszawskim pod kierunkiem Anny Skolimowskiej i Jerzego Axera. W cyklu tym publikowane są wystąpienia uczestników sesji naukowych towarzyszących posiedzeniom międzynarodowej rady programu „Rejestracja i publikacja korespondencji Jana Dantyszka (1485–1548)”. Problematyka spotkań dotyczy różnych aspektów funkcjonowania w XVI wieku międzynarodowego środowiska, po łacinie zwanego "respublica litteraria", tworzonego przez ludzi pióra, uczonych i intelektualistów Europy. W najnowszym tomie obok tekstów związanych z szeroko pojętą tematyką reprezentacji przestrzeni geograficznej w kulturze epoki wczesnonowożytnej znalazło się itinerarium Piotra Tomickiego, obejmujące okres, gdy sprawował on urząd podkanclerzego koronnego.
The fourth publication in the Respublica Litteraria "in Action series", part of the editorial project Corpus Epistularum Ioannis Dantisci conducted at the University of Warsaw for two decades under the direction of Anna Skolimowska and Jerzy Axer. The series features papers from participants in the scientific sessions held alongside the international council meetings of the “Registration and Publication of Ioannes Dantiscus’ Correspondence (1485–1548)” programme. The issues of the meetings deal with various aspects of the international environment in the sixteenth century, called in Latin "respublica litteraria", formed by the literati, scholars and intellectuals of Europe. The latest volume, in addition to texts related to the broad topic of the representation of geographical space in the culture of the Early Modern era, includes an itinerary of Piotr Tomicki, covering the period of his tenure as Sub-Chancellor of the Crown of the Kingdom of Poland.
